I’m happy to announce that my latest picture book entitled ‘I Am a Shell’ is now available from Amazon. This is the second picture book in the ‘I Am a…’ series, although the books don’t need to be read in any particular order.
This story focuses on a conch shell who is left lying empty and abandoned after being home to a sea snail and a hermit crab. The shell accidentally embarks on an adventure which brings new friends, unaware that its hidden talent will save the day.
I created the ‘I Am a…’ picture book series to tell tales from the perspective of something that’s inanimate. So if a stone or a shell could see, hear, and feel, what story would it tell us about its life? I’m currently working on the third book in the series, about a flower, so you can probably guess the title of that one (answers on a postcard).
