In 2020 I illustrated a non-fiction book for children entitled ‘The Ice-Cream Sundae Guide to Autism‘, written by Debby Elley and Tori Houghton, published by Jessica Kingsley. The book explains autism simply and clearly, with fun puzzles and talking points along the way. I was asked to illustrate in a very simple style with thick black outlines, similar to Mr. Men books.
In September 2020, the book became a bestseller on Amazon, reaching number 1 in ‘Teaching Students with Learning Difficulties’! Whoop whoop!
